Brett Comer

Brett Comer was named the Flyers' Director of Basketball Operations in the spring of 2021.  Comer joined Anthony Grant’s coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in 2017, and was then named UD's Director of Player Development  in 2019. 
 
As a college player, he was the point guard on Florida Gulf Coast’s “Dunk City” Sweet Sixteen team.  He is ranked 24th all-time on the NCAA Men’s Basketball Division I career assists list with 845 from 2011-15.  He began his coaching career in the 2015-16 season between playing gigs, serving as a volunteer assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  A knee injury ended his professional playing career.
 
Comer earned his undergraduate degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations in 2015.  He received his master’s in Educational Leadership from Dayton in 2019.
