Matthew Sweet hails from London, Ohio. In the spring of 2017, he graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration. Sweet plans on gaining his Master of Business Administration in the spring of 2019.
During his time as a Flyer, Sweet served as a student manager for the University of Dayton Men’s Basketball Team for three seasons (2014-2017) and as the head student manager his last two (2015-2017). As the head student manager, Sweet aided the video coordinator, assisted the coach in practice drills, and organized all travel equipment and gear for over 20 road trips and 6 tournaments.
After his graduation, Sweet joined Anthony Grant’s coaching staff as one of the two Graduate Assistants for the Dayton Flyers in August 2017.
Currently, Sweet works as the Video Coordinator for the Dayton Men’s basketball team along with supervising a team of 13 student managers.
