2023-24 (Junior)
• One of two team reps on UD's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
• Tallied 17 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3-pt., 5-6 FT) seven rebounds and six assists in 38 minutes at Northwestern
• Had 20 points (6-10 FG, 7-9 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and three blocked shots in the win at SMU
• Tallied 23 points (9-12 FG), 17 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots vs. Troy. Also drew 10 fouls
• Had 28 points (10-17 FG, 3-5 3-pt., 5-7 FT), seven rebounds and five blocked shots vs. Cincinnati
• Tallied 27 points (9-13 FG, 3-5 3-pt.), 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocked shots in the Longwood win
• Selected A-10 Player of the Week (1/2)
• Tremendous performance at Duquesne featuring quantity (33 points, 12 rebounds) and quality (33 points in 31 minutes on just 18 shots). When the Dukes cut a 14-point lead to four in the second half, Holmes scored 14 of UD’s next 16 points
• Was named NCAA March Madness National Player of the Week, and was also A-10 Co-Player of the Week (1/16)
• Had 29 points (25 in the second half), 14 rebounds, four blocked shots and two steals in the SLU win. Also drew 10 fouls
• Scored 21 points (7-13 FG, 6-7 FT) in 24 minutes vs. Rhode Island. Sat out the final 14:53 of the blowout win
• In the second half of SLU and first half of Rhody, 43 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots over 36 minutes
• Named A-10 Player of the Week for the second straight week (and third time in January)
• Named one of five USBWA Players of the Week, joining Zach Edey, Dalton Knecht, Jamal Shead and Kezza Giffa
• Had 22 points (16 in the first half), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks at La Salle

• Named to the Naismith Men’s National Player of the Year Trophy Midseason Watch List (Top 30)
• 20 of his 29 points vs. Fordham came in the second half. Also had 10 rebounds and three assists. Made 10 of 13 FGs
• Selected A-10 Player of the Week for the fifth time in the eight weeks of conference play to date
• Tallied his 10th double-double of the year (25 & 13) with five assists at Saint Louis
• Was named one of five Karl Malone Award (top power forward in college basketball) finalists on March 7

• Had 24 points and 13 rebounds, and drew 10 fouls vs. Duquesne in the A-10 tournament. Also had three assists and blocked two shots
• Selected as one of 10 Naismith Trophy semifinalists
• Had 18 points (8-9 FT). nine rebounds and three steals in the Nevada win
• Tallied 23 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals against Arizona
• A consensus All-American, Holmes was named to six All-America teams. He was named a Second Team All-American by the Associated Press, the NABC and The Sporting News, and Third Team by the USBWA, ESPN.com and Field of 68
• He was one of two players in D-I who has more than 65 blocks, 65 dunks and 65 assists this season. Zach Edey is the other. Holmes has 67, 68 and 86 respectively. Holmes also had 32 threes and shot is .386 (32-83) from deep. He had just seven threes coming into the year
• Named the team’s White Allen Most Valuable Player for the third time in his career. He was the ninth Dayton men’s basketball player to be the team MVP three times, but the first to earn the honor as a freshman, sophomore and junior
2022-23 (Sophomore)
• One of three players to appear in all 34 games and was one of two players to start in all 34 games
• The Athletic tapped him as “one of the 20 most intriguing players in men’s college basketball for 2022-23”

• First Team All-Atlantic 10, A-10 All Tournament Team, and All-Defensive Team
• A-10 tournament’s Most Outstanding Player (21.7 ppg., 10.1 rpg., 4.0 bpg.)
• On a pair of prestigious watch lists -- the mid-season USBWA Oscar Robertson Player of the Year and the Top 10 of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s Karl Malone Award
• Led UD in scoring and was fourth in the A-10 (18.4), and was second in rebounding (8.1.) being the only player in the A-10 to be in the top five in both
• Led the A-10 in blocked shots (1.94) along with the nation in dunks with 89
• Had the best shooting percentage 59% shooting 230-390 on the season
• His 89 dunks were the most in the regualr season in Division I
• Earned CollegeAdvantage Student-Athlete Of the Week Honors, 3/22/23, 3/1/23, 2/22/23, 1/4/23, 12/21/22, 11/30/22 and A-10 Player of the week, 2/27/23
• Named NABC All-District
• Became the only true sophomore in UD history to score 1,000 points in his career, reaching the milestone in the final regular season game of the year at Saint Louis
• Participated in teh 2023 NBA Combine before choosing to return to Dayton for the 2023-24 season
2021-22 (Freshman)
• Started all 35 games while leading the team in minutes
• Led the team in scoring at 12.8 ppg off 65% shooting
• Finished the season averaging 20 ppg in the final five games.
• Set the school's single season block record with 81. This was the third most in the A-10, and the third most in the country by a freshman
• Had the fourth most rebounds by a freshman in school history
• Tied for the fifth most points per game for freshman in school history
• Named A-10 Rookie of the Week five times
• A-10 Rookie of the Year, Second Team All-Atlantic 10, and a member of the Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team
• White Allen Co-Most Valuable Player recipient, first freshman in history to achieve the award
• Recipient of the Thomas M. Luppe Award, which is awarded to the first-year player on the team who best demonstrates the courage, desire and integrity
• Named Male Rookie of the Year at the 2022 RUDYS.
High School
• The highest-ranked high school recruit to ever sign with the Flyers. A four-star prospect, he was a consensus top 50 recruit
• Played his first three high school seasons at Millennium High School in Goodyear, Ariz.
• In 2019-20, he was the Arizona Gatorade High School Player of the Year after averaging 23.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 3.1 assists per game for the AIA 5A state finalists
• Was also conference Defensive Player of the Year
• Had career averages of 18.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 blocks, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals for his three years at Millennium
• Millennium finished 24-6 while reaching the Arizona 5A championship game for the second consecutive year
• Began 2020-21 playing for one of the strongest teams in the country, Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla.
• Transferred over the holidays back to Arizona to play for another top team, AZ Compass Prep and finished out the year where he averaged 15.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks
• Even with the mid-season change, MaxPreps named him an Honorable Mention All-American
