• Was the second-leading scorer in the 2016 FIBA U-20 European Championships in Helsinki, Finland. He averaged 19.0 points a game in the seven-game tournament.  
• The leading scorer was Lauri Markkanen, a 7-0 forward who starred for Arizona last year and is now in the NBA.
• Svoboda was the tournament's top three-point shooter, making 21 of 42 from behind the arc. Also averaged 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists at the 2016 championships.
