Eckrich redshirted this year due to injury.
2012
Eckrich opened up his collegiate career at the Flyer 5k with a time of 16:07.3 placing 33rd. This is a 5k personal best. At the National Catholic Invitational he posted a 27:11 in the JV race. This is an 8k personal best. At the All- Ohio Championships he ran 27:27.67 placing 55th in the Open 8k Race.
High School
• Placed 18th in a time of 9:22.50 in the 3,200-meter run at the 2012 Indiana High School Track and Field Championships.
• Holds a personal best 16:05/5K, set at Indiana Wesleyan’s 2011 Marion Invitational
• Ran a personal best of 9:34.18 in the 3200m at the Summit Athletic Conference track meet
• Ran a 4:23.6 in the 1600m
• Coaches named him "Most Valuable Teammate" in 2009 and 2011
• Placed 4th overall in the 2011 Indiana Catholic Cross Country Championships
• Ran 3200m times of 9:46 & 9:48 at the Hoosier State Indoor Relays during the past two years, respectively
• 4-year Summit Athletic Conference “Individual All -Conference” Cross Country
• 2009 and 2010 Indiana HS Cross Country State Championships Qualifier

Son of Christopher and Carol Ann Eckrich...has two younger sisters, Karen and Julia...born Sept. 29, 1993...Intended College Major: Civil Engineering.
