A four-year letter winner under head coach Gip Hoagland, Paxson returns to the Flyer program as an assistant coach in 2017-18.
Paxson led the team as a senior during the 2016-17 campaign, averaging a team-low 72.78 strokes per round. He was the Flyers' top finisher at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championship, finishing third overall and earning A-10 All-Conference accolades. Paxson was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
During the summer of 2015, Paxson qualified for the 2015 US Amateur with an even-par, two-round total of (69-71) 140 at Dayton Country Club in Sectional Qualifying (US Amateur- Aug. 17-23)
