Buse was named a 2012 Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection…became just the fifth Dayton Flyer to earn A-10 All-Conference honors…during the 2011-12 season, he was tied for the team lead in rounds played (26) and ranked fourth on the team in stroke average (75.0)…24 of his 26 rounds played were shot in the 70s or lower…opened the season shooting 78-70-72 at the UK Bluegrass Invitational and finished tied for 21st…fired rounds of 73 and 75 at the Cardinal Intercollegiate to tie for 29th…finished with scores of 76-74-79 at the Cobra-PUMA Invitational to finish tied for 46th…tied for fifth at the Bearcat Invitational with scores of 70-71-75…tied for 13th at the UD Fall Invitational with rounds of 76-72…opened the spring season with scores of 83 and 75 to tie for 38th at the Butler Spring Invitational… tied for 53rd with rounds of 75-73-76 at the NYX Hoosier Invitational…added scores of 77-75-81 to tie for 40th in the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate…tied for 52nd at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational after tallying scores of 76-79-78…tied for third at the Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Championship with a career-best 68 in round one and an even-par 72 in the second.

Finished the year fifth on the team in stroke average at 78.5…played in eight rounds with his best score a 75…tied for 66th at the John Piper Intercollegiate with scores of 82 and 78…at the UD Fall Invitational, he shot a season-best 75 and a 77 to place in 22nd…finished in fourth at the North Georgia tri-team meet after shooting a 78…finished in 57th at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate after rounds of 82-81-75.

2009-10
Finished fourth on the team averaging 76.4 strokes per round…Tied for third on the team with 23 rounds played and had the second best round on the team with a 69…Began his Flyer career with rounds of 81-79-79 at the John Dallio Memorial…Added rounds of 76-76-74 at the Xavier Invitational…Tied for 25th at the UD Fall Invitational with rounds of 74-79… Opened the spring campaign with a second place finish at the North Georgia Spring Invitational after carding rounds of 79 and 71…Tied for fourth at the Butler Spring Invitational shooting a 72…Recorded rounds of 73-77-69 at the Big Blue Intercollegiate to place in a tie for 25th…Carded rounds of 74-75-74 at the UK Invitational… Named the A-10 Rookie of the Week on April 12…Added scores of 75-80-81 at the Titans Invitational…Finished in a tie for 37th among individuals at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Men’s Golf Championship after shooting rounds of 81-76-81.

High School
Buse also comes to UD from St. Xavier and is also ranked in the Top 10 of the NJGC Ohio junior rankings in 2008. Buse was the 2008 GCL Player of the Year and a member of the AJGA HP Scholastic All-American Team. In addition, Buse also qualified and competed in the 2008 Junior World Championship at Torrey Pines and the U.S. Junior Amateur at Shoal Creek.
