The University of Dayton women’s basketball program announced the addition of Emily Durr to the staff as administrative associate in August 2021.
Durr comes to Dayton after spending the past two seasons as head coach at Mohawk Valley Community College located in her hometown of Utica N.Y. In her first year as head coach, the Lady Hawks amassed a record of 17-7, however her second season was canceled due to COVID-19.
Prior to coaching, Durr played collegiately at Iowa State University, where she played in 122 games and finished her career with 965 points. There she received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in exercise science.
