Kendel Ross tallied five double-doubles on the season as UD's third-leading scorer (10.1 ppg) and second-leading rebounder (7.1 rpg). She finished second on the team in steals (1.1), assists (2.5) and blocks (0.8). She started 33 of 34 games played during the season. The junior guard scored in double figures 17 times and finished with double-digit rebounds nine times. Ross hit 7-of-15 shots from the field including 2-of-3 from the line in the win over St. Mary's. Ross finished the game with a then career-high 17 points and 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. She grabbed a career-high 16 boards in the defeat of Navy on Nov. 15 and followed it up with one of the best games of her career with a personal best 27 points (9-of-11 FT) and 13 rebounds versus Central Michigan (11/29). Ross stepped it up in conference play averaging 10.9 points per contest for second on the team. She led UD in free throw percentage in A-10 only games (88 percent, 31-of-35). Ross finished 10th in the Atlantic 10 Conference in rebounding.
2007-08Â

2006-07Â
UD's most consistent bench performer during her first collegiate season...she played in 30 of 31 games and started two while averaging 5.3 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per contest...Finished with six games of double figures in scoring and two in rebounding...Made her first collegiate appearance with two rebounds in 20 minutes played at Louisville in the season opener...Finished with eight points, four rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal the next day against Memphis...Came off the bench for an injured teammate to score 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and pull down nine rebounds in 27 minutes of action against Long Island...Followed with her first career start against Loyola-Chicago just four days later and collected a season-high 14 rebounds while scoring eight points...Put up a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds including seven boards in the win over Fordham...Scored a season-high 14 points against both St. Francis (PA) and Rhode Island.

Helped lead the Canadian Junior National Team to a silver medal at the FIBA America's U18 Championship Qualifier in Colorado Springs, Colo...Averaged 9.4 points per game, 9.2 rebounds per game and 26.0 minutes per game...Also led Canada to a third place finish at the 2006 FIBA Americas U20 Championship...Averaged 8.4 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per game...Shot 92.3% from the free throw line...Also played in the U19 Championship in Tunisia in July, 2005.
