Biography

2009-2010
Kristin entered this season as one of the leaders on the team. She started during her first two years and her junior season was no different as she started all 33 games for the Flyers. She played a total of 813 minutes (24.6 avg.) which was the second most on the team. She ended the season averaging 9.6 ppg having scored 318 points total. This was good for third on the team. Her ability to score was further glorified during a win over UMass. Daugherty grabbed an offensive rebound and put it back in as well as being fouled on the play. Doing this put her over the 1,000 career point mark. She is the 18th women’s basketball player and seventh to achieve 1,000 points as a junior . One of her biggest scoring nights came against Toledo where she put up 21 points. She grabbed 123 rebounds for an average of 3.7. Her accomplishments do not stop on the court as she also proved to be a force in the classroom.  She was awarded the Dayton’s Presidential Outstanding Student Scholar Award and was named to the Atlantic 10 All Academic Team.
