Dayton women's golf head coach Ali Green joined the Flyers program in August of 2021 and is responsible for all aspects of team management, scheduling and recruiting.
A competitive golfer herself, Green claimed her second Ohio Women's State Amateur championship on July 1, 2021. She claimed the title 1-up in the 18-hole final match.
Green became the first female to ever play at the Tony Blom Metropolitan Amateur Championship in 2020, traditionally known as the Cincinnati men's amateur championship. After advancing to match play as the 64th seed, she took then-defending champion and current Dayton men's golfer Kyle Schmidt to 18 holes before losing 1-up. Green also claimed the 2019 Ohio Women's Amateur Championship and the 2017 Cincinnati Metro Women's Championship titles.
Green, a Cincinnati native, spent five years at the helm of the Lakota East High School girls' golf program, leading the Thunderhawks to three Ohio state championships.
She was also a four-year standout for the Ashland University women's golf team as a three-time NCAA DII National Championship qualifier. Green graduated from Ashland with a bachelor's degree in education (intervention specialist - mild to intensive).
