2021-22 (Senior)
• Named Academic All-Atlantic 10
• Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Wellness Chair on the executive board 
• Was the female recipient of the RUDY Award at the annual R.U.D.Y.S. Awards banquet, the most prestigious honor given to a UD student-athlete
• Named First Team All-Conference by the Atlantic 10
• Received CollegeAdvantage Student-Athlete of the Week honors on May 18
• Nominated for Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award
• Member of 2varsity 8+ boat that won the dual regatta with Eastern Michigan
• Member of 2varsity 8+ boat that finished third in the petite final at the George Mason Invite, improving on the time from heat 1
• Member of 2varsity 8+ boat that won the petite final at the Atlantic 10 Championships, a full 20 seconds ahead of second place
• Received the 2022 CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award
• Named to 2021-22 A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

2020-21 (Junior)
• Member of Dayton's V8+ that earned bronze medals in the Atlantic 10 Championship Grand Final, edging out Massachusetts at the finish line. The Flyers finished the 2k in 6:57.588 to earn bronze over the Minutewomen who finished in 6:59.328. The Flyer V8+ made the Grand Final by placing second in its preliminary heat in 7:09.653.
• Dayton's V8+ split into two V4+s to take on Duquesne. The Flyers went 1-2 in that race with the Dayton B team finishing first in 6:26.8 and the Dayton A team in 6:32.1. McDonnell was on the winning Dayton B team
• Part of Dayton's V8+ that advanced to the Mason Invitational grand final with a second place finish in the A-10 race in a time of 6:48.8. The Flyers took third place in the grand final in a time of 6:49.1, edging out Saint Joseph's.
• Part of the V8+ named the Ohio's College Advantage Student-Athletes of the Week for contests during the week of April 5-11
• Part of Dayton's V8+ that had two first-place finishes vs. Eastern Michigan in the V8 500-meter races. In the first 500m piece, Dayton was first in a time of 1:48.47 and EMU was second in 1:53.1. UD also won the second 500m race in 1:48.15 and the Eagles were second in 1:52.99.
• Member of the Flyers V8+ that won the 2k race in 6:32.0 vs. Marietta
• Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
• Named to the 2020-21 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

2019-20 (Sophomore)
• No spring season due to COVID-19
• Part of the UD Varsity 8+ that finished in third place in a time of 15:39.4 at the Bald Eagle Collegiate fall invitational, as well as the V4+ B boat that finished fourth in 17:12.2
• Named to the 2019-20 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

2018-19 (Freshman) 
•  Finished in third place out of 10 teams at the Bald Eagle Collegiate Invitational as a member of the Novice 4+.
•  Competed at Marietta on Dayton's C team.
•  Finished in first place in the petite final at the Cooper Invite, as a member of the 2V8+ team.
•  Competed on the JV8+ team and finished with a bronze medal with a time of 7:20.20 at SIRA.
•  Advanced to the Grand Final and took sixth place at the A-10 Championships as a member of the 2V8+ team.  
•  Competed in the 1st & 2nd 500m along with the 5th and 6th 500m against Duquesne as a member of the 2V8+ team.
• Named to the 2018-19 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

High School
  • Four-year member of varsity soccer team (goalkeeper)
  • Accolades include three All-State nominations (two Honorable Mention 2015, 2016 and one third team 2017), four-time All-Conference, a place on the MHSAA Record Board for hutout record (33) and team captain in senior campaign on cross country team; Coaches Award in 2017, Academic All-Conference 2015, '16, and '17; Most Positive team award 2017; Coaches Award in 2018
  • Played kicker for high school's football team, playing to the state championship
  • Member of four-time conference and three-time regional championship cross country team 
  • Holds the school record for most shutouts as a goalkeeper in school history (33); first girl to score in a football game in high school's history; first girl to win a boy's football state championship in Michigan
