Biography
2013-14
Willard participated as a member of both Varsity 8+ and 2V8+ squads throughout the season. She was a member of the V8+ squad that placed second at the IU Spring Meet as well as the V8+ squad who finished fifth in the Occoquan Sprints. Willard was a member of the 2V8+ squad who placed second at the A-10 Championships and fifth at the Dad Vail Regatta.
2012-13
Willard was a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. She competed in the 2V8+ races in 2012-13, highlighted by a second place finish at the Dad Vail Regatta.
2011-12
Willard was awarded the Outstanding Novice Rower Award. She competed in the Cardinal Oak Ridge Invite, the Marietta Regatta, Buffalo, and the Dad Vail Regatta. At the A-10 Championships, she was a member of the 2V8+ boat that placed fifth in the Final.
High School
Mary ran track and played basketball in high school.
Personal
Mary is the daughter of Dave and Theresa Willard. She has three brothers; David, Jacob and Simon. Mary is majoring in exercise physiology with the aspirations of becoming a neurological-physical therapist. She is a member of the UD Student Athlete Advisory Committee, a Chaminade Scholar, a Berry Scholar and a member of Sigma Alpha Iota.
