Biography
Video Bio2013-14Rehwinkel was a member of the V8+ boat that finished in second place at the IU Spring meet. She was also part of the V8+ boats that finished fifth in the Occoquan Sprints and the A-10 Championships. She also participated in the V8+ boat in the Dad Vail Regatta, her last race as a Flyer.
2012-13Rehwinkel was a member of the V8+ boat that finished with the fastest time in the Cardinal Oak Ridge Invite. She raced in the same boat in The Knecht Cup as well as the A-10 Championships. Her boat finished fourth in the final of the latter event. At the Dad Vail Regatta, she led her team to a fifth place finish in the 21 Women’s Varsity Heavyweight Eight Final.
2011-12
In her sophomore campaign, Rehwinkel competed in the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite the Marietta Regatta, Buffalo, The Knecht Cup, and the Dad Vail Regatta. At the A-10 Championships, she helped her 2V8+ boat capture a fifth place finish.
2010-11
As a freshman, Rehwinkel raced in the 2V8+ boat for the Flyers at the A-10 Championships. At the Dad Vail Regatta, she helped her Novice 8+ boat to a fourth place finish in the Grand Finals.
High School
McKay competed in rowing and lacrosse. She was an International Baccalaureate.
Personal
McKay is the daughter of Gary and Alyson Rehwinkel and has one sibling, Chasse. McKay is majoring in nutrition and fitness.
