• Only the second true freshman to start a UD basketball opener in the last eight years (DaRon Holmes was the first)
• 2022-23 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team
• Appeared in 32 games and made 20 starts
• Knocked down his first shot (and scored UD’s first points of the year) with a three-pointer against Lindenwood and finished with 10 points and had five assists (with no turnovers).
• Averaged 5.6 points and 1.9 rebounds
• Had 83 assists, 11 blocks, and 14 assists
High School
- First Mongolian citizen to earn a Division I athletic scholarship
- Represented Mongolia on the World Team at the 2022 NIKE Hoop Summit
- First Dayton recruit to play in the Summit, which features the top high school players from the U.S. against the top international prospects
- Played 11 minutes, with two points, two steals, two blocked shots and an assist
- Averaged 10.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 24 games in 2021-22 for the International Sports Academy in Willoughby, Ohio, and shot 51.2% (44 of 86) from 3-point range
- Began his high school career at Legacy Christian in Xenia, Ohio, near Dayton
- Averaged 10.5 points in 19 games in the 2018-19 season as a freshman
- Played as a sophomore at prep powerhouse Prolific Prep in Napa, Calif. in 2019-20
- Returned to his home in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for his junior year during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic before joining the ISA program for 2021-22
- Was team captain for Mongolia’s U18 team at the 2019 world 3x3 championships that were played in Mongolia
- Born in Phoenix while his dad, Sharavjamts Tserenjankhar (aka The Mongolian Shark) was the first Asian Harlem Globetrotter
