Job Responsibilities: Mikos serves as UD athletics' in-house storyteller; researching, writing and recording stories for various mediums. He also serves as the communications contact for men's cross country, women's cross country and women's track & field, and is the play-by-play announcer for ESPN+ broadcasts at the University of Dayton.
Past Experience: Prior to joining the Dayton athletics staff full time, Mikos has spent over a decade in television and radio. For WKEF and WRGT, he served as a morning news producer. At WTGR-FM, he served as the News Director and was On-Air Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Since 2009, he has broadcasted multiple events for the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
Education: Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Bowling Green State University in 2009.
Personal: A native of Dayton, Ohio, he resides in Beavercreek with his wife Christine.
