Brittany Parker

Brittany Parker joined the University of Dayton women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in April 2026, bringing over a decade of elite Division I coaching experience and a proven track record of championship success.
 
Coaching Experience
Parker arrives at Dayton following a successful tenure at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she served as an assistant coach since May 2022. Helping the Rams to their first WBIT apperance in 2024. Prior to her time with the Rams, she spent three seasons at Marist College, helping lead the Red Foxes to back-to-back MAAC Regular Season Championships (2020, 2021) and a MAAC Tournament Championship in 2021, which resulted in an NCAA Tournament berth.

Her extensive coaching resume includes stops at several prominent programs across the country:
  • College of Charleston: Focused on guard development and coached three all-conference selections.
  • Western Kentucky University: Assisted the Hilltoppers in capturing both the C-USA Regular Season and Tournament Championships in 2017.
  • Morehead State & Niagara: Served as a key recruiter and tactical assistant.
  • Fayetteville State (Division II): Helped secure the 2010 CIAA Championship and an NCAA Division II Tournament bid.
 
Background & Education
A veteran of the sidelines, Parker’s coaching philosophy is rooted in her experience as a student-athlete at Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, N.C., where she was a four-year letter winner. Over her career, she has developed a reputation for elite player development and a keen ability to navigate the postseason, having contributed to multiple conference titles and NCAA appearances at various levels.
