Job Responsibilities: Responsible for managing all aspects of University of Dayton Arena (operations, maintenance, staffing, security, parking, concession, etc.) and oversees all other Dayton Flyer athletic facilities. In addition, he is the primary contact for all University of Dayton Athletics construction and renovation projects and manages all operations related to hosting NCAA Men’s Basketball First Four and other championships.
Past Experience: DeBolt has over 27 years of experience in event and facility management. He previously spent 12 years as vice president of operations for the Columbus Crew Major League Soccer team, four years as Director of Operations for the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer team and was Director of Operations for the United Soccer League (previously USISL) for three years. Additionally, he has held various operational and management positions with the 1994 FIFA World Cup in Chicago, the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Chicago and the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Columbus, Ohio.
Education: Earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from nearby Wittenberg University in 1992.
Personal: A native of Bloomington, Minn., DeBolt resides in Westerville, Ohio, with his wife Sally Ann and their four children
