Job Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Athletics Division's outdoor fields and indoor venues (except UD Arena) including supervising the fulltime, part time contractor, and student staff. This position coordinates all events, (Athletics' and external customers) booked for the athletics fields, Cronin Athletics Center, Owens Training Center and Frericks Center.
Past Experience: Before coming to Dayton, Harris spent two years as the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Director of Athletic Events at Cedarville University. Prior to that he has spent time in coaching soccer collegiately at Trinity International (NAIA) and Cedarville University (NCAA DII).
Education: Earned a bachelor's degree in sport business management from Cedarville University in 2016 and a master's degree in coaching and sports administration from Concordia University Irvine in 2018.
Personal: A native of Newport News, Va., Harris currently resides in Fairborn, Ohio.
