Job Responsibilities: As the Associate Athletics Director of Student Development and Community Engagement, serves as the athletics liaison to the UD Career Services Center to introduce career opportunities, internships, resumes and interview preparation, professional networking, employer engagement and other post-graduate opportunities for student-athletes. Serves as the central hub  supporting student-athletes in the commercial use of student-athlete name, image or likeness ("NIL").  Advises the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, coordinating the executive board, team representatives, its governance, and actions. Leads department-wide efforts for the Catholic and Marianist vision of education by connecting athletics to learning, leadership and service by student-athletes being active and engaged in our community through service and engagement, and liaison with community groups.Works with student-athletes to integrate them with the A-10 Commission on Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and the Flyers Plan for Excellence. Sport program administrator for men's and women's golf.

Past Experience: Lead the Flyer athletics communication department from 2011-21. Prior to coming to Dayton, Warren served as the sports information director at Urbana University. She was the associate sports information director at University of Cincinnati from Aug. 2006 to July 2007. She was named the first-ever, full-time sports information director at Urbana University in July 2002 where she covered all sports until 2006 and returned in 2007 after a year at UC.

Education: Warren earned a bachelor’s degree in communication with a focus on journalism from Urbana University in 2000, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was part of the first-ever varsity women’s soccer team. She graduated from the University of Dayton in 2015 with a master's degree in public administration and also completed the political science department's non-profit leadership certificate. Warren earned a certificate in Supervisory Leadership from the University of Dayton Center for Leadership in 2014.

Personal: Krystal and her husband Jeremy live in Dayton, Ohio.
