Former UD forward Chris Rolfe scored both goals in the Chicago Fire's 2-1 win Saturday over former UD defender Mark Schulte's Columbus Crew. Rolfe was named the MLSnet.com Man of the Match. He now leads the Fire with eight goals on the season, which puts him tied for 11th in all of Major League Soccer.

UD grad Michael Nsien signed Thursday by the MLS' Los Angeles Galaxy. Nsien, who played for UD from 1999-2002 earned his spot on the Galaxy's developmental roster after he appeared in two games for the Galaxy reserves during the 2005 season (both starts) and played a total of 180 minutes. He did not appear in the Galaxy's 2-2 draw with Kansas City on Saturday.
Nsien is the fourth Flyer in UD's history to join the MLS, joining Rolfe (Chicago Fire, 2005-), Schulte (Tampa Bay Mutiny, 1997; Columbus Crew, 2005-) and Denny Clanton (Chicago Fire, 2004).
Nsien played 73 games for the Flyers from 1999-2002, scoring nine goals and chipping in four assists. He scored two game winning goals, ranks 11th on UD's all-time games played list and 10th on UD's games started list with 64.
