TOUGH TEST AWAITS FOR DAYTON HOSTING ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN
A pair of 2-0 teams face off as the University of Dayton Flyers host the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers on Saturday from Tom Blackburn Court at noon ET.

Jordan Sibert came up big in the clutch for the second straight game in Wednesday's 70-56 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) at UD Arena. Sibert scored seven straight points to break open a 54-54 deadlock and ignite UD to a 16-2 game-ending run over the game's final four minutes.

Devin Oliver and
Dyshawn Pierre led the Flyers with the team's first double-doubles of the season in the SFU win. Oliver led in both categories, scoring 16 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Pierre added 14 and 10. It was Oliver's eight career double-double, and Pierre's second.

The Flyers will be seen on television a record 29 times during the 2013-14 regular season. UD will have 29 of its 31 regular season games televised nationally or regionally during the regular-season. The landmark package represents the most televised games in a regular season for the Flyers.

Archie Miller announced the signing of two top high school players to letters of intent on Wednesday. They are 6-foot-4 guard Darrell Davis from Detroit Douglass High School, and 6-foot-11 center Steve McElvene from New Haven High School in New Haven, Ind.
MAUI INVITATIONAL MAINLAND
Saturday's game between Dayton and St. Francis Brooklyn is one of seven opening games for the 2013 Maui Invitational. The Opening Games feature seven Island Teams – Arkansas, Baylor, California, Dayton, Gonzaga, Minnesota and Syracuse – hosting one home game each against one Mainland Team – Coastal Carolina, Louisiana, Oakland and St. Francis Brooklyn. These games will be played at the Island Teams' home arenas.

UD will play away from UD Arena for the next four games. The Flyers will face a former coach for the first time when they play at Brian Gregory's Georgia Tech team on Wednesday, and then will travel to Hawai'i to play in the EA Sports Maui Invitational.
