ATLANTA
– Three Dayton Flyers recorded career highs in points leading the way to an 82-72 road victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Devin Oliver and Jordan Sibert each scored a career-best 20 points and Devon Scott added a collegiate high 13 points to lead the Flyers to a 4-0 start.

Vee Sanford scored 15 and Scoochie Smith added five assists and four steals as UD also won its fifth straight over an ACC opponent.

Once again Dayton continues to handle teams from the power conferences. Over the previous seven seasons, the Flyers are 20-9 against BCS programs.

It was also the first time in the program's history the Flyers faced a former head coach. Brian Gregory, who is in his third season at Georgia Tech, coached at Dayton from 2003 to 2011.

Dayton maximized its chances on Georgia Tech's 19 miscues to outscore the Yellow Jackets 33-6 on turnovers.

The Flyers tied a program-best with 17 steals against Georgia Tech.

Dayton also dominated at the free throw line, converting 20-of-25 attempts. Oliver made all eight of his free throw attempts, while Scott and Khari Price combined to go 7-of-7.

Georgia Tech dropped to 3-1 overall.

Up next for Dayton is the 2013 EA Sports Maui Invitational. Dayton will open the tournament on Monday, Nov. 25 against the No. 13/12 Gonzaga Bulldogs at midnight ET.
