FLYERS HOST MURRAY STATE TO CLOSE 2013

ABOUT MURRAY STATE
• The Murray State racers enter Sunday's game 5-6 overall with all five victories at home. Four Racers average in double figures led by Jarvis Williams (13.3 ppg). Cameron Payne is the top scoring freshman in the Ohio Valley Conference (13.0 ppg), while Jeffrey Moss (11.7 ppg) and Dexter Fields (10.6) boost the attack. Clemson transfer T.J. Sapp has played only two games, but is averaging 20.0 per game.

SERIES STUFF
• Dayton leads the all-time series 6-3. Last year at UD Arena, the Flyers snapped Murray State's 16-game road win with a 77-68 victory.

I LOVE THE 80'S
• UD has scored 80 or more points six times this season and won all six games. The Flyers are showcasing a balanced offensive attack with four players averaging in double figures.

HANG TEN
• The Flyers are looking for their 10th win of the 2013-14 season. With a win, UD will have extended its streak of 10 or more non-conference wins to eight straight seasons.

SEEING DOUBLE
Dyshawn Pierre has recorded a double-double in back-to-back games. He tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds against USC. Pierre leads the Flyers with three double-doubles on the season.

THIRD TIME IS A CHARM
• The Flyers and Racers will be meeting for the third consecutive season. Each team has won on its home floor. Murray State won 75-58 on Dec. 4, 2011, while Dayton was victorious on Dec. 22, 2012 with a 77-68 victory.

UP NEXT
• The Flyers host the Wintrop Eagles on New Year's Day to close out a five-game homestand with a 2 p.m. ET tip.
