DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer team (4-6-1) will begin the Atlantic 10 Conference portion of their schedule this Saturday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. against the Saint Louis Billikens (5-5-0). The game is the first of a doubleheader with the men's soccer team playing in the night game. Admission to both games is free to the public.
PROMOTIONSThe game is Kids' Day and Camper Reunion. The first 100 kids wearing a jersey receive free popcorn. There will also be a bouncy house at the match. As well as Kids' Day and Camper Reunion, it is also Alumnae Recognition night. Watch for the halftime recognition of former Flyers! Fans can also get the Official Dayton Soccer Scarf with seven punches on their card. Scarves are also available for purchase for $15 each. RedScare will be holding a cookout for UD students with IDs.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONUD senior Haley Keller baby sits two local girls who suffer from Tyrosinemia Type I, which is a genetic metabolic disease which affects about 1 person in 100,000 in the world. It prevents the body from being able to break down protein in a healthy way. At the moment, there is no cure, but that doesn't stop four-year-old Avery and her baby sister Leighton. The family will be selling bracelets for $5 to raise money for a cure. The UD women's soccer team will wear the bracelets in warmups.

Nicole Waters is second in the A-10 and 17th, nationally, in assists (6). With her 25 career assists she is sixth on UD's all-time Top 10 list. She needs two assists to move into a tie for fifth and three to move into a tie for third.
• The Flyers are undefeated at home this season and 202-57-19 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. In the last six years Dayton is 47-7-4 at home; an astounding .845 winning percentage at Baujan. BennettRank College Soccer revealed Dayton's Baujan Field was ranked 29th in all of NCAA Division I women's soccer for home field advantage.
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS• The Billikens are 5-5-0 on the year. In their most recent outing, Saint Louis defeated Omaha 4-2.
• The away team is near the top of almost every Atlantic 10 offensive category. The Billikens lead the league in shots per game (17.80), goals per game (2.00), and corner kicks per game (6.80). They rank second as a team in points (59), assists (19), and assists per game (1.90).
• Saint Louis is led in scoring by sophomore Kirsten Clemens. She has five goals and two assists on the year.
• Senior Lindsay Elking is another major contributor with four goals and three assists.
• The Billikens are coached by second-year head coach Katie Shields.
