The University of Dayton women's soccer team (6-7-1, 2-1-0 A-10) returns to Baujan Field on Friday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. to take on La Salle (7-4-2, 3-0-0 A-10). The Flyers will close the weekend with another home match against Fordham (6-6-1, 0-2-1 A-10) on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.

The games will be available online via free audio stream on DaytonFlyers.com on the A-10 Digital Network with Nicholas DeSanctis and Alex Mikos on the call. The stream is free to fans on their desktop or mobile devices through the Atlantic 10 app, which can be downloaded at the Apple App Store and Google Play.

THE SERIES
• The Flyers lead the all-time series versus the Explorers 16-5-0. 
• The Flyers are 14-1-3 all-time versus Fordham. Last season, Dayton defeated the Rams 3-1 on Oct. 27, 2013. Current juniors Ashley Campbell and Nicole Waters were major contributors in that match. Campbell scored a goal, and Waters recorded two assists.

FLYER FACTS
•  Mike Tucker is entering his 20th season as head coach of the Flyers in 2014. He has an overall record of 288-103-28
• The Flyers earned their first road win of the season by beating  George Mason 3-2 in their last match. 
• The Flyer captains this season are senior Chelsea Rose, and juniors Ashley Campbell and Nicole Waters. 
• Dayton ranks second in the A-10 in goals, goals per game, and points. The Flyers rank first in the A-10 in shots.  
• UD's 8-0 loss to No. 4 Stanford was the largest margin of defeat in Dayton women's soccer history. 
• Junior Ashley Campbell is fourth in the league in goals (8). She is also fifth in the A-10 for points (20) and points per game (1.43 pts/gm). Campbell has 38 career goals and needs one more to move into fourth place on UD's career list. She needs eight goals to move into a tie for third place with All-American Missy Gregg (1999-2000). 
• Junior Nicole Waters is second in the A-10 and 26th nationally in assists (7). With her 26 career assists she is sixth on UD's all-time Top 10 list. She needs one more assist to move into a tie for fifth and two to move into a tie for third. 
• Alexis Kiehl was recently selected as A-10 Rookie of the Week, the second time she has earned that honor this season.

UP NEXT
Dayton will travel to Richmond on Saturday, Oct. 25 for a 7 p.m. match. The following week,  the Flyers will visit our nation's capital to play George Washington on Friday, Oct. 31 for a 3 p.m. start. 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
LA SALLE
• The Explorers are 7-4-2. La Salle is currently riding a three match win streak with all three wins coming over conference opponents. 
• La Salle leads the Atlantic 10 overall right now with an undefeated conference record.
• La Salle's Kelsey Haycook ranks fifteenth in the NCAA  with 0.846 goals per game. She also leads the A-10 in goals (11), goals per game (0.85), points (25), and points per game (1.92)
•Junior Jessika Kagan is also a big contributor to the Explorers. She has 5 goals and 3 assists on the year. 
• This is coach Paul Royal's 11th season as head coach of the Explorers. 

FORDHAM
• Fordham is 6-6-1 overall and 0-2-1 in conference on the year. The Rams are 0-5-1 in their last six matches with losses coming to Providence, Stony Brook, Columbia, VCU, and La Salle. 
• In their last two outings, the Rams tied George Washington 1-1 and were defeated by La Salle 1-0. 
• Fordham is led in scoring by Senior Jessica Widmann, who has four goals and four assists on the year. Senior Kate McDonnell is another offensive playmaker with three goals and three assists. 
• Senior Ally White and Sophomore Megan Fitzgerald have split time at goalkeeper this season. White has played in 13 contests, while Fitzgerald has appeared in six matches. 
• The Rams are coached by Jessica Clinton, who is in her first season. 

2014 A-10 WOMEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD AT BAUJAN FIELD
The University of Dayton's Baujan Field will be the site of the 2014 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Championship Nov. 6, 7 & 9.  Call the Dayton Ticket office for your A-10 Championship tickets at 937-229-4423.
- All session passes are $15 each, and single match prices are $6 per adult, $4 per Child (under 18) and Senior Citizens (65 and older).
- No Charge for Atlantic 10 student with ID. Groups of 8 or more (in advance only) tickets are $3 each.

BELIEVIN' IN BAUJAN 
The Flyers are 203-57-19 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. UD owns a .762 winning percentage in those matches.  In the last six years Dayton is 48-7-4 at home; an astounding .847 winning percentage at Baujan. 
•    UD's home-match winning streak is currently 10 consecutive (including 5-0 this season) at Baujan Field, which is tied for as the fourth best active streak in the nation. 
•    UD has a 30-match (28-0-2) unbeaten streak in home conference games dating back to Oct. 21, 2007, a home 2-1 loss to Charlotte.
•    Dayton is 22nd in the nation in average home attendance with 1,049 fans per game.
