First serve at EKU's Alumni Colisuem is set for 5:30 p.m. and admission is free. The Flyers are coming off a 3-0 week with wins over Morehead State, Fordham and Rhode Island, all three in straight sets.
Scouting Eastern KentuckyEastern Kentucky (16-8, 6-2 OVC) is wrapping up a five-match homestand Wednesday against Dayton and the Colonels have won three of their last four matches. EKU recently sropped a 3-2 decision to OVC rival Tennessee Tech this past Saturday. The Colonels are led by Alexis Plagens with 3.27 kills/set and Ciera Koons with 0.78 blocks/set.
Series Stuff• Wednesday's match against Eastern Kentucky with be the 20th meeting in the all-time series between the Flyers and Colonels. UD holds a slim 10-9 advantage and the Flyers have won four of the last five match-ups between the two programs.

Tim Horsmon is in his sixth season overall, but first since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2014. His record at Dayton is 147-48 and his overall win-loss mark sits at 323-212 in 16 seasons as a head coach.

• With 142 team service aces, Dayton ranks seventh nationally out of 150 teams ranked by the NCAA. The team also ranks 13th with 1,170 team kills, 1,091 team assists and 218.5 team blocks.
• Dayton has won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title 10 times (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1998). The Flyers have won the A-10 Championship title eight times (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003) and have made nine NCAA appearances in program history.
• Over the last five seasons (2010-2014), the Flyers have recorded a 58-8 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play, including a perfect 14-0 mark in 2012 and a 15-0 record in 2010. UD suffered only one conference loss in 2011, posting a 14-1 record that season. So far in 2014, the Flyers are 7-1 in league action.

13th to 1,000With two wins at the season-opening Bowling Green Hampton Inn Invitational, Dayton has surpassed the 1,000-win mark as a program and is just the 13th NCAA DI team to attain that level of success. The Flyers currently rank 13th all-time in the Division I record book with an overall program tally of 1,017-565 (.643) over 44 seasons (1970).

Janna Krafka has also passed 1,000 ... career digs. With her 33 digs at the BGSU Hampton Inn Invitational, she reached the 1,000-dig mark for her career. With 1,343 career digs, Krafka now ranks fifth all-time in the UD career record book. She is only 86 digs behind Cathy Wojciechowski (1990-93) who ranks fourth with 1,429 career digs.

Isolde Hannan is moving up the Dayton career assisted blocks list as the top blocker for the Flyers this season. Hannan currently ranks fifth all-time with 424 block assists, after just recently passing previous fifth-placed former-Flyer
Megan Campbell (415). So far this season, she has recorded a team-best 80 BAs and is averaging 1.11 total blocks/set (10 solo blocks). Heading into this season, Hannan has recorded three consecutive seasons with 100+ assisted blocks.
Turn Down for WhatAs the team's kills leader, junior
Alaina Turner consistently produces offensively for the Flyers. She ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and 47th nationally with 4.03 kills/set. Turner also pops up in several other categories in the NCAA National Ranking Summary: third in service aces (50), fourth in total attacks (1,002), sixth in aces/set (0.58), 16th in total kils (347), 22nd in points/set (4.93) and 23rd in attacks/set (11.65).
Consistently AccurateThe team's hitting percentage has improved drastically since the beginning of the season and the Flyers currently rank first in the Atlantic 10, hitting at a .247 clip. Dayton ranks second in the league in assists/set (12.69) and blocks/set (2.54).
