INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Dayton women's rowing team had an excellent day at the Head of the Eagle at Eagle Creek Park Saturday as every crew medaled in their respective races.
The Varsity 4+ A boat took first place. That crew was made up of
Allie Rogers,
Emma Tokar,
Mary Willard,
Rosie Perez, and
Madison Doty.

The Varsity 4+ B boat, which included
Allison Martie,
Kayla Contardi,
Grace Hagan,
Chloe Hollinden, and
Meghan Garriott, also finished first in its race.
The Varsity 8+ finished second and was comprised of:
Madison Doty,
Allison Martie,
Allie Rogers,
Rosie Perez,
Emma Tokar,
Mary Willard,
Rachel Hock,
Kayla Contardi, and
Grace Hagan.

The Varsity 4+ C finished third in its race. Â The lineup for that boat was
Amanda Matney,
Caitlin Ferris,
Meghan Sullivan-Casey,
Danielle Foust, and
Katy Speed.
"It was a strong showing for us. It was the first race for our novice crew and a chance for all of us to see where we match up against other good crews," said Willard. "It was a successful day, giving us momentum going into our last fall race and winter training."
The Novice 8+ finished third and both novice 4s (two separate races A&B) finished first. Those lineups were:
