VCU is 8-4-4 overall and 4-1-1 in A-10 play this season. The Rams have not been beaten in their last four contests, taking down Rhode Island, Davidson, and George Washington while also tying Richmond. In their previous two matches, the Rams have walked away victorious, beating both Davidson and George Washington by a score of 1-0. Maren Johansen leads VCU in goals (8), points (18), shots (42), and shots on goal (15). VCU is led by their tough defense though. Through six conference matches, the Rams have only given up one goal, ranking them first in the A-10 in goals against and shutouts.  VCU currently sits in second place in the conference standings.

THE SERIES
The Flyers have dominated the overall series vs George Washington winning 12 of the 15 contests the teams have played. The two teams haven't played since 2011.
