Dayton volleyball claimed the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Title (11th) and captured the A-10 Championship Title (ninth) as well. Dayton defeated VCU and George Washington, both by a, 3-1 margin, to win the A-10 Tournament. With its two wins over the tournament weekend, Dayton stretched its winning streak to 15 games. Scouting OhioOhio (23-5, 16-0 MAC) fell in the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference Tournament Sunday to Western Michigan, 3-1, at OU's Convocation Center. The loss snapped the Bobcats' 17-match win streak and ended the team's hope of capturing the league tournament title. Ohio is led by Kelly Lamberti with 4.06 kills/set to go with 3.15 digs/set while MAC Player of the Year Abby Gilleland is the team's primary setter at 10.70 assists/set.
Series Stuff• The series between Dayton and Ohio dates back to the 1973 season with the Flyers holding a 14-9 advantage all-time. The two last squared off on Sept. 7, 2013 at Ohio's Baymont Inn Invitational with the Bobcats taking the 3-0 win at home. Dayton has won three of the last four meetings and six of the last eight.

• With 186 team service aces, Dayton ranks 14th nationally out of 150 teams ranked by the NCAA. The team also ranks 15th with 311.5 total blocks, 18th with 1646 kills and 19th with 1538 assists.
• Dayton has won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title 11 times (2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1998). The Flyers have won the A-10 Championship title a league-record nine times (2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003) and have made nine NCAA appearances in program history.
• Over the last six seasons (2009-2014), the Flyers have recorded a 78-9 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play, including a perfect 14-0 mark in 2012 and a 15-0 record in 2010. UD suffered only one conference loss in 2014, 2011 and 2009.

Amber Erhahon. Year-end awards were decided by voting of league coaches.
RPI RankingsDayton heads into Friday's match holding a RPI (Rating Percentage Index) ranking of 65, up 12 spots from last week, according to ncaa.com. Ohio is ahead of UD at 44.
13th to 1,000With two wins at the season-opening Bowling Green Hampton Inn Invitational, Dayton has surpassed the 1,000-win mark as a program and is just the 13th NCAA DI team to attain that level of success. The Flyers currently rank 13th all-time in the Division I record book with an overall program tally of 1,026-556 (.649) over 44 seasons (1970).

Janna Krafka has also passed 1,000 ... career digs. With her 33 digs at the BGSU Hampton Inn Invitational, she reached the 1,000-dig mark for her career. With 1,477 career digs, Krafka now ranks third all-time in the UD career record book. She is 198 digs behind Paige Vargas (2009-12) who currently ranks second with 1,675 career digs.
Emmenecker Setting Her Way into the UD Record BookFreshman setter
Jane Emmenecker passed the 1,000-assist mark during the Flyers' match against Saint Louis on Oct. 25. She averages 11.16 assists/set (1st A-10, 26th NCAA) and has a total of 1,328 assists so far this season. With 1,461 assists in 2006, former Flyer All-American Erin Schroeder holds the fifth-most single-season assists total - Emmenecker needs 133 more assists to break into the UD record book.

Amber Erhahon are two tough blockers to get past. Hannan is averaging 1.20 blocks/set and Erhahon averages 1.17 blocks/set which ranks tied for third and fifth, respectively, in Atlantic 10 individual standings.

Isolde Hannan is moving up the Dayton career assisted blocks list as the top blocker for the Flyers this season. Hannan has rocketed up the UD record book this season and currently ranks third all-time with 467 block assists. So far this season, she has recorded a team-best 123 BAs and is averaging 1.20 total blocks/set (14 solo blocks). Hannan has now recorded at least 100 assisted blocks in all four seasons she has been a Flyer.

Alaina Turner consistently produces offensively for the Flyers. She ranks first in the Atlantic 10 and 45th nationally with 4.11 kills/set. Consistently AccurateThe team's hitting percentage has improved considerably since the beginning of the season and the Flyers currently rank second in the Atlantic 10, hitting at a .254 clip. Alaina Turner was voted as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week and freshman
Jane Emmenecker claimed her fourth Rookie of the Week nod Monday, Nov. 17 as announced by the conference office. Turner averaged 5.29 kills per set and 2.71 digs per set over the weekend in two wins for the Flyers. She also averaged 5.64 points per set and hit at .395. Emmenecker averaged 11.43 assists/set, including a career-high 53 assists Sunday against Duquesne.
