FLYERS FALTER ON THE ROAD AT ARKANSAS, 69-55

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Jordan Sibert scored 18 points, but the Dayton Flyers dropped a 69-55 road decision to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Kyle Davis added seven points and four assists, while Devon Scott added six points and eight rebounds. The Flyers fall to 7-2 overall and the loss snaps UD's five-game winning streak.

Dayton's offense could not get on track against the tough Razorback defense. UD shot 40 percent from the floor and committed 15 turnovers. Arkansas also shot 49 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Flyers 36-27.

The Flyers had won nine of their last 11 games against the Southeastern Conference, though one of those losses was to Florida in last year's NCAA tournament regional finals.

They struggled to find their shooting touch and comfort level throughout on Saturday, finishing 40.4 percent (21 of 52) from the field and committing 15 turnovers against the Razorbacks. Dayton is now 26-10 over the last eight seasons against the major five conferences.

Up next for the Flyers is the start of a four-game homestand with Dayton hosting Boston University of Saturday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. ET.
