OXFORD, Ohio
–Kendall Pollard matched his career-high with 15 points as the Dayton Flyers earned a hard-fought 66-62 road victory over the Miami RedHawks.

Devon Scott recorded his second straight double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as Dayton won its third straight and improved to 5-1 overall.

Jordan Sibert added 11 points as the Flyers shot 43 percent from the field.

"Give Miami credit, they played a matchup zone for 40 minutes," said coach Archie Miller. "But, we found a way to grind and stick with it. It was good to get the win."

Once again UD's defense continued to excel forcing 17 turnovers. Dayton has not lost a game this year when allowing an opponent to score 70 or more points.

Dayton has now won seven of the last eight in the series with Miami that dates back to 1909.

The Flyers return home to face the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. ET.
