Andrea Hoover with a career-high-tying 29 points. Dayton improves to 9-3 on the season while Central Michigan falls to 5-6.

Saicha Grant-Allen posted a career-high 14 points to go with a career-high 12 rebounds for her first collegiate double-double. Junior
Amber Deane scored a season-high 25 points while senior
Ally Malott chipped in 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Additionally, Hoover dished out a career-high-tying eight assists.
Dayton shot 55.4 percent from the field to Central Michigan's 46.7 percent but the Chippewas out-rebounded the Flyers, 34-32.
The Flyers' largest lead of the game came with 1:25 left in the first half as UD led, 43-30, after a pair of free throws made by Deane. At the half, Dayton led by 10, 43-33, and was able to score the first bucket of the second frame for a 12-point advantage. The Chippewas battled back, pulling within two, 73-71, with just under seven minutes to go in the game. CMU's Crystal Bradford made two free throws to cut UD's lead back to two again at 91-89 but the Flyers scored seven points in the last minute of regulation to put the game away, 98-89.
The Chippewas were led by Bradford with 29 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Central Michigan ended up with five players in double-figures scoring including Jessica Green with 17 points.
Dayton returns to action after the New Year on Sunday, Jan. 4 with its first Atlantic 10 contest of the season. UD will play host to George Washington at 3:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
