FLYERS HOST ANNUAL MATH DAY GAME WEDNESDAY

More Than 6,000 Area School Children Are Expected To Attend

No. 22 University of Dayton women's basketball (20-5, 13-1 Atlantic 10) hosts Saint Louis (11-16, 6-8 A-10) in their final home game of the 2013-14 season this Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. ET in its annual "Math Day" at UD Arena. More than 6,000 area school children are expected to attend today in this mid-day matinee Atlantic 10 game. Season ticket holders are encouraged to sit in sections 103 and 104, which will be reserved. The game will be available online via free audio stream on DaytonFlyers.com on the A-10 Digital Network with Shane White and Keith Raad on the call. 

FLYER FACTS
- The Flyers clinched their second consecutive Atlantic 10 regular season title with their 82-56 win over Saint Joseph's on Sunday, Feb. 23. Dayton won its first ever A-10 regular season title last season after going 14-0 vs. the conference slate. UD won its first A-10 Tournament Championship in 2012.
- The Flyers are on an eight-game winning streak and have been victorious in 18 of their last 19 games. UD avenged its only A-10 loss this season to Saint Joseph's. Sophomore Amber Deane led the way for Dayton, finishing with a team-high 16 points. She did not play in the first matchup against Saint Joseph's when she was out with a concussion. The Flyers lost that game 75-63 on Jan. 26.
- Dayton has won 25 consecutive games at home. Its win streak is the third longest in the nation. Chattanooga (37) and East Carolina (26) are the only teams ahead of UD.
- The Flyers are averaging 84.4 points per game which is best in the Atlantic 10 and fifth best in the nation. The Flyers have scored 80+ points in 18 of their 25 games this season, including 100+ in three games.
- Junior Ally Malott needs 122 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone.
- Dayton has hit at least one three point shot in 404 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation.
- More than 150 individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages took part in the 9th annual basketball clinic offered by the University of Dayton Women's program, in conjunction with the Montgomery County Developmental Services, at UD Arena Saturday, Feb. 22,

SERIES INFO
Dayton leads the all-time series 22-6 over the Billikens. The Flyers have won the last 12 meetings over Saint Louis. Dayton is 10-2 vs. SLU when playing them at UD Arena. The two teams played last week in a makeup game when it was rescheduled due to inclement weather. Andrea Hoover scored a career-high 29 points to help the Flyers overcome a halftime deficit to defeat Saint Louis 90-74 on Feb. 17. Hoover scored 20 of her career-high 29 points in the second half, including a four-point play with 4:24 to play in the second half that gave UD a 78-61 lead. Hoover also had a game-high seven assists and six rebounds.

SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis is 11-16 overall and 6-8 in Atlantic 10 action. The Billikens average 61.6 ppg. Erin Nelson leads SLU with 14.1 ppg and Desirae Ball is not far behind with 12.2 ppg. Denisha Womack puts up 9.6 ppg and leads Saint Louis in rebounding with 7.0 rpg. Sadie Stipanovich is second in rebounding with 6.5 rpg and she adds 7.5 ppg. Jamesia Price leads SLU in assists (108). SLU's three-point field goal percentage defense (.287) is ranked third in the A-10.

UP NEXT
UD closes out the regular season at George Washington on Saturday, March 1. The A-10 Tournament Championship will be held March 5-9 in Richmond, Va. at the Richmond Coliseum.
