DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team held its end-of-season banquet Tuesday night to celebrate the successes of the 2025-26 campaign.
Head coach
Tamika Williams-Jeter and her staff gave out the team awards to student-athletes in front of coaches, players, managers, practice players, and support staff. The Flyers reflected on all of the accomplishments this past season, both on and off the court.
The following team awards were given out:
Scholar Athlete Award (Scholar Athlete of the season, most consistent athlete academically with the highest GPA) –
Nicole Stephens and
Olivia Leung
Flyer Award (Athlete that has exhibited Working Hard, Integrity, No Excuses for the extent of this season. Did things the Dayton way on and off the court) –
Ajok Madol
Linda Waltz Courage Award (Player who has exhibited the most consistent ability to do something that frightens them. The strength in the face of pain or grief) –
Maliyah Johnson
Most Improved Player (Growing on and off the court in terms of the impact they have on the team and substantial leap in their game, overcoming expectations. Demonstrating the most hard work and dedication to their development) –

Most Valuable Player –

As a team, Dayton finished the year as the No. 6 seed in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship before advancing in the A-10 Tournament for the fourth straight season under Coach Williams-Jeter. The Flyers finished the year with a 17-14 record overall, a 9-9 A-10 mark, and an 8-6 home record. UD says farewell to departing seniors
