PITTSBURGH, Pa. –  The University of Dayton women's basketball team shot 54 percent from the field in its 87-77 win over Duquesne Saturday. Five Flyers scored in double figures, paced by junior
Andrea Hoover's 23 points. UD improves to 15-5 overall and 8-1 in the Atlantic 10, remaining atop the conference standings. The Dukes drop to 16-8 overall and 8-3 in A-10 action.

Celeste Edwards followed up her career game vs. VCU (18 points), with 17 points, six rebounds, and a game-high 6 assists. Senior
Cassie Sant contributed 13 points, sophomore
Amber Deane tacked on 11 points, and junior
Ally Malott rounded out the Flyers in double figures with 10 points. Freshman
Andrijana Cvitkovic added eight points and a career-high three blocked shots.
UD dominated on points in the paint, 34-14. The Flyers also had 21 fast break points to the Dukes' 10.
