THROWDOWN THURSDAY AS DAYTON VISITS UMASS
• Two Top 100 RPI programs square off as the University of Dayton Flyers (28) go on the road to face the Massachusetts Minutemen (71) on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.

ABOUT MASSACHUSETTS
• Winners of three of their last five, the Massachusetts Minutemen come into Saturday's contest 10-9 overall and 3-3 in the Atlantic 10.
• UMass is 6-3 at home this season.
• The Minutemen have a balanced offense with four players averaging in double figures: Maxie Esho (12.8 ppg),  Cady Lalanne (11.9 ppg), Trey Davis (10.7 ppg) and Derrick Gordon (10.4 ppg).
