Nicole Waters scored the lone goal of the match and freshman goalkeeper
Kaelyn Johns earned her first collegiate shutout in Dayton's 1-0 win over Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 opener for both teams Thursday night at Hermann Stadium.

Nicole Waters scored on a blast from 25 yards out in the 61
st minute with an assist from
Meghan Blank. It marks the second goal this season for Waters and 19
th of her career. She now has scored six game-winning goals in her career.
• The Flyers outshot the Billikens 21-17.
• Johns earned her first collegiate shutout. She had five saves in the match vs. SLU.
• SLU's Rodriguez received her second yellow card in the 80
th minute and was sent off, leaving the Billikens a player short for the final 10 minutes of regulation.
