RICHMOND, Va.  – The University of Dayton women's soccer team (5-8-0, 3-1-0 A-10) dropped its first Atlantic 10 Conference match of this season with a 3-2 loss to VCU (6-6-1, 4-0-0 A-10) Sunday afternoon at Sports Backers Stadium. The Rams, winners of five consecutive, are one of two teams to remain undefeated in conference play.
STATS OF THE MATCH• Dayton outshot VCU 20-10, including 12-3 in the second half.  The Flyers also too four cornerkicks while VCU took none.
• The Flyers fell behind early as the Rams scored two goals in the first 11 minutes of the match.
