WOMEN'S SOCCER BACK HOME TO FACE FORDHAM SUNDAY

Flyers Will Offer a Free Clinic For All Children Eight Grade and Under Following the Match

• The University of Dayton women's soccer team (5-9-0, 3-2-0 A-10) hosts Fordham (10-4-0, 4-1-0 A-10) Sunday, Oct. 18 at Baujan Field at 1 p.m. 

PROMOTIONS: 
- Wing-eating contest for students with a chance to win a Dayton men's basketball voucher. 
- Posters to the first 150 fans 
- Sunglasses giveaway
- Chocolate Cupcake Day - cupcakes to the first 100 fans
- Free postmatch clinic for all kids 8th grade and under. (Clinic will begin immediately following the match and last approximately 40 minutes)

• The Flyers are coming off a 2-1 loss at La Salle Thursday, Oct. 15.
• The Rams are 4-1 in conference play with wins over Rhode Island (1-0), Saint Joseph's (1-0), Saint Louis (1-0) and St. Bonaventure(2-1) and a loss to VCU (3-2 in overtime).

THE SERIES
• Dayton is 15-1-3 all-time vs. Fordham.  
• The teams met last year at Baujuan Field with Dayton winning 2-0. Ashley Campbell and Kelsey Smigel each scored in the match. 

TERRIFIC TUCKER
•  Mike Tucker is in his 21st season as head coach of the Flyers in 2015. He has an overall record of 299-114-29.
•  His astounding career conference mark of 158-31-10 is an A-10 record .825 winning percentage.

CAMPBELL'S CLIMB
• Senior Ashley Campbell recently moved up to second on UD's all time scoring list with 55 career goals (needs three to tie for first). 
• Her game-winning goal vs. UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 20) was the 50th of Campbell's career. She became just the third Flyer to score 50 goals. 
• With her four points in UD's 5-2 win over Rice on Sept. 11, Campbell moved up to second all-time at Dayton for career points. She currently has 131.
• Campbell scored 18 goals during the 2013 season, which is tied for fourth best at UD for a single season.

WATERS CAN ASSIST YOU
• Senior Nicole Waters was fourth, nationally, in assists (18) in 2014 and led the nation with 17 assists in 2013. 
• Waters holds the UD single-season assists record with 18.
• Her 45 career assists rank second on UD's all-time Top 10 list (five from tying for the lead).

NEW KID IN GOAL
• True freshman Kaelyn Johns has started every match in goal for the Flyers.
• She has amassed 58 saves in 14 matches. 

BELIEVIN' IN BAUJAN 
• The Flyers are 212-61-20 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. UD owns a .760 winning percentage in those matches.  
• In the last six years, Dayton is 57-11-5 at home, an astounding .820 winning percentage at Baujan. 
• Dayton's first home match of the 2015 season vs. then No. 18 Ohio State drew 2,102 fans, the second-largest attendance for a UD women's soccer match at Baujan Field in program history.

UP NEXT
•  Dayton will travel to Rhode Island on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. ET.
•  The Flyers return home to take on St. Bonaventure on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. ET.  Senior day will take place prior to the match vs. the Bonnies.
