WOMEN'S SOCCER HOSTS GEORGE MASON SUNDAY IN PINK MATCH

Flyers' A-10 Home Opener Is Also Breast Cancer Awareness Match

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton hosts George Mason (5-4-0 overall, 1-0-0 Atlantic 10) this Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at Baujan Field in its Pink Match to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Research. Wear your pink to show your support!

The Flyers (3-7-0 overall, 1-0-0 A-10) are coming off a 1-0 win over Saint Louis Thursday. The Patriots are coming off a 5-0 win over St. Bonaventure Thursday in their A-10 opener. 

THE SERIES
• Dayton has won two out of the three prior meetings against George Mason.
• The first time the two teams met was in 1988 when the Patriots shut out the Flyers 1-0.
• Since George Mason joined the Atlantic 10 Conference, the two teams have met in 2013 and 2014, both resulting in Flyer victories: a 3-2 overtime win for UD in 2014 in Farifax, Va. and a 3-0 Flyer win in 2013 at Baujan Field.
