MARIETTA, Ohio – The University of Dayton rowing team competed for the first time this fall and returned solid results at the Muskie Chase hosted by Marietta College.
The Flyers competed in a 6k race as well as three, 500-yard pieces. Dayton's V8+ boat took second place in the 6k in a time of 24:31.
In all three 500-yard pieces, Dayton's V4+ took first place and the Novice 8+ also took first place. In the 2V4+ races, Dayton took second in each piece.
