PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The University of Dayton men's soccer team got the game-winning goal from senior
Carlos Sendin in the 89
th minute of the contest.
Dayton (6-4-1, 1-0-0 A-10) defeated Duquesne (2-6-1, 0-1-0) in the conference opener on Saturday night on the road.
KEY STATS• The Flyers out-shot the Dukes in the first half 10-5, but still trailed 1-0.
• Duquesne's goal was the lone one shot on target in the first 45 minutes for the host team.
• Dayton recorded a season-high 32 shots in the game, the most since Oct. 13, 2013 (36 shots vs. Fordham). The Flyers put nine of those on target.
• UD benefited from 10 corners while only allowing three to Duquesne.
• Junior goalkeeper
Justin Saliba had one save and picked up his fifth win of the season in nine games.

Kissima Bojang led the team with six shots, two on goal, while defender
Lalas Abubakar followed with five shots.
