ORLANDO – Kendall Pollard netted 15 points and Scoochie Smith added 13 points and seven rebounds as the Dayton Flyers fell to the No. 23 ranked Xavier Musketeers, 90-61, in the final of the AdvoCare Invitational.

GAME BREAKDOWN
  • Turnovers and rebounding proved to be detrimental to Dayton's chances. UD committed 22 turnovers and were out-rebounded 40-26.
  • Three-point shooting also proved costly. Xavier connected on 8 of 19 from beyond the arc, while the Flyers were 4 of 16.
  • Dayton trailed 43-35 at halftime, but the deficit would not last as Xavier opened the second half on a 25-4 run.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
