Darrell Davis scored 12 points off the bench and
Kendall Pollard added his first double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Dayton Flyers earned a hard fought 51-44 road win against the Saint Louis Billikens.
Dyshawn Pierre added eight points and 11 rebounds as Dayton snapped a three-game road losing streak.
The Flyers kept pace in the Atlantic 10 standings moving to 8-3 in conference play. Dayton also improved to 18-5 overall.
UD closed the game on a 10-0 run in the final 3:40. Saint Louis missed its last five field goals and committed 19 turnovers in the game.
All three triples by Davis in the second half came at a time Dayton was trailing and gave them the lead.
Up next for the Flyers will be a contest against the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 12:30 p.m. ET. The game is sold out.
