Box Score 4 DAYTON, Ohio – Throughout multiple days of competition this weekend, the University of Dayton tennis teams won four out of five matches against Chicago State, Northern Kentucky, and Belmont.
Beginning on Friday, Feb. 6, the Flyer tennis programs took on Chicago State University at the Five Seasons Tennis Complex. Both teams recorded victories with the men's team winning 7-0 and the women's team winning 4-1. The Flyer men went undefeated in all three doubles and all six singles matches.

Coming off two big wins on Friday, UD's tennis teams traveled to Highland Heights, KY on Saturday to play against Northern Kentucky University. For the second day in a row, both teams ended their contests victorious. The Flyer men defeated NKU 4-3 and the women won 5-2.
To finish the weekend, the Dayton men returned to the Five Seasons Tennis Complex on Sunday, Feb 8. to compete against Belmont. Despite 3 victories in singles, the men could not clinch the doubles point to win the match and lost a close one, 3-4.

After a successful weekend for both teams, Flyer tennis is ready to use this momentum to continue a great spring season. Up next, the Flyer women will take on Butler on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. in Indianapolis, Ind.
