Four Flyers scored in double figures led by 17 points from
Jordan Sibert.
Kendall Pollard added 14 points and six rebounds,
Dyshawn Pierre tallied 13 points and eight boards and
Kyle Davis scored 13.
In overtime, Davis sank a three to help Dayton take a 64-63 lead with 6.6 seconds to go. After the initial shot was blocked by Pierre, GW's Joe McDonald got the offensive rebound and hit the game-winner from a few feet out.
Dayton drops to 17-5 overall and 7-3 in the Atlantic 10. George Washington, who is now 10-0 at home this season.
UD was 19-of-23 from the charity stripe, but shot 41 percent from the floor and 30 percent from three-point range.
The Flyers close their two-game road swing on Tuesday, Feb. 10 against the Saint Louis Billikens. Tip at 9:30 p.m. ET.
