MIAMI – The University of Dayton women's soccer team opened the 2015 season with a 2-1 overtime loss at Florida International Friday at FIU Soccer Stadium.
Libby Leedom scored UD's lone goal with an assist from
Nicole Waters.
STATS OF THE MATCH-Â Dayton outshot FIU 10-2 in the first half but the Panthers outshot UD 10-1 in the second period. FIU had the only shot of the OT period.
-Â Waters' assist marked the 38th of her career
-Â Flyer freshman goalkeeper
Kaelyn Johns had five saves in goal.
