HIGH POINT, N.C. – The University of Dayton men's soccer team traveled to North Carolina on Thursday and left with a 2-1 victory over High Point, overcoming tough weather conditions.
After a one hour and 30 minute lightning delay, the game was finally able to get underway in North Carolina. Despite the delay, the Flyers scored a goal in each half to take a 2-1 win from the hosts.
KEY STATS• Dayton out-shot High Point 19-17 in the match. The Flyers also put 13 on target in the contest, compared to the Panther's eight attempts on goal.
• The Flyers benefited from 10 corners versus High Point's five.
