KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The University of Dayton men's soccer team tied Western Michigan on the road Sunday, 1-1.
The Flyers (4-3-1) took the initial lead over the 24
th-ranked Broncos (5-0-1), but were unable to hold on to the advantage.
KEY STATS• It was the first overtime game for both the Flyers and Broncos this season.
• After regulation and overtime, Dayton was out-shot by Western Michigan 14-9, but had more shots on goal (5-3).

Dennis Currier. "It was a back-and-forth game that could have gone either way. This game was very similar to what we will face on the road when we enter conference play so it was good experience for us."
